McDonald’s has partnered with former St. Louis Rams Tight End Roland Williams and 17 other current professional NFL players to bring this empowering three-day camp. The camp will take place at Harris-Stowe State University from July 11th-13th.

The camp is unlike your typical celebrity football camp. This camp focuses on not only on-field experience, but also the importance of skills needed to make life a little easier. Students will sit in classroom settings discussing and learning about healthy eating habits, the importance of maintaining credit scores, balancing checking accounts and much more. The camp was designed to help students realized that not everyone will go to the NFL, but that everyone will face everyday challenges such as those previously mentioned. Successful classroom attitudes are rewarded through participating in on-field activities with NFL players.

Campers will be selected randomly to receive one of the 300 available scholarships required to attend the camp. Students between the 8th & 10th grades are encouraged to apply at one of the McDonald’s locations below. Application deadline is July 7th. Students MUST be available all three days of the camp, in order to be considered. Applicants can visit this website again on July 9th to see if they have been selected.
