McDonald's® of St. Louis and Metro East has been a proud supporter of The Annie Malone Children and Family Service Center for over 12 years.
McDonald’s presented the fourth annual McDonald’s May Day Bluesfest. This FREE outdoor old school music fest takes place at Kiener Plaza from 4 pm to 6 pm immediately following the Annie Malone May Day Parade on Sunday. The 2010 McDonald's May Day Bluesfest will take place on Sunday May 16th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In 2009, Kim Massie headlined the Bluesfest concert and performed 45-minutes of blues and jazz hits. St. Louis’ own Silky Sol "The Red Afro Diva" warmed up the crowd and stage for Ms. Massie, with her electrifying contagious energy. The 2008 McDonald’s R&B Soul Search winner, Kristin Stimage, was featured during this energetic soul concert. During the concert, McDonald's Area Owner/Operators presented the Annie Malone Center with a $10,000 check donation, as they have done for the last four years.
St. Louis’ own Annie Malone Children and Family Service Center offers a range of programs and community services to care for children in need, including early childhood education, parenting classes, crisis intervention, psychiatric counseling, and adoption support.
